I GIVE YOU NEWS
There is a lie going about.
There is a lie published in high seats and going about deceiving many in many places. Men receive it with joy and hang it on their door fronts. There is a lie that to me is bitter and vile, but men drink it quickly and yearn for more. They say sin is sweet, and make a business of proclaiming it. Men have become friends of sin; they have become priests – they worship sin and say, dwell in me for you are more fulfilling than God.
The righteous suffer and are almost caught in it. The sound of sin is loud, the music is long, the notes are creative, the chorus is cunning, but the words are profane, and men are caught in it. The scene of sin is pleasing, the road is broad and easy, the gates are fine as jewels, the gates are wide open, the pleasure is immediate, the feast is for the flesh, the wages is death, and men are caught in it. The righteous suffer and almost surrender; but God is faithful. Amen.
Oh Lord, the stone pleases you better than these children who are ungodly and full of activity. The trees worship you better than these people who are immoral and full of event; the dead obey you better than the living; the end looks unlike the end, but it is here.
The people speak carelessly; they pick words without care, they talk without God in their thoughts; they praise their names; the rich know the rich, none washes the feet of the poor. The end is only heard of and forgotten, but it is here.
Oh Lord, when will this cease? The people keep their hands in the dark rather than worship you in the church; they put their feet in soil rather than tread on your glorious path; their eyes seek mischief, their ears heed to vanity, their minds understand nothing; the Truth remains homeless, their hearts are bolted; the end appears small, but the consequences are dire and eternal. Amen.
Oh Lord; they commend sin to their neighbours and young ones; they reward the immoral and praise the proud. Everyday they are up only to find new ways of offending your holiness.
I must arise and inform them; that the Lord Almighty will soon take the world from under their feet, and remove the sky from over their heads; He will soon weaken the might of the mountains, and cease the controls of the seas; He will clear the land of its gems, and stop the wind from going in and out of man. I must tell them that the Lord will do it, that he will take their gains and storage, rob them in daylight, and appear too fearfully that their offensive tongues would hide in their bellies and be quiet;
O there is a fear coming, and a thief coming, and He shall pick the toil of man and make ashes of it, and gather the pride of man and bring worms upon it.
The glory of the earth won’t endure the Lord’s wrath, just as candles melt at the touch of fire. The glory of the earth will spoil and none can recover it, it will be lost and none can return it; nothing will last except the glory of God and his holy nation.
One man turns to the other and says my heart is for myself; none considers the Lord. Another turns to a man and says “take my heart for you exist”; and none remembers that the Lord exists. They look about them, they see no God in sight, they conclude and say, “we are on our own and we own the earth”. The child knows the mother, the dog knows the owner, the worker knows the employer, the sheep knows the shepherd, the lion knows the trainer, but these do not know their Creator, they don’t reflect or draw near, they linger far off into the wild and something wild will rejoice over them at dawn.
Then I lifted up my eyes to the Lord Jesus, and in prayer I said “The Glorious Seat in Heaven is not empty, you occupy it, you rule from there, and your reign is forever.
Your lips have known no lies nor uttered any, nor spoken in vain, nor withdrawn any word that was once proclaimed. You said your hands will heal the wounded and wound the haughty; it shall come to pass. You said your Blood will save the prisoner and imprison the prudent; it shall come to pass. You need not be remembered of your own words, your mind is quick to recall your promises, and your power is quick to rescue your flock and destroy the tares.
The ocean is now small, it fits into your glass; the mountains are now low, they are below your knees; you gave them their season of power and stay, but now you’ve taken their boast and their mouth is dry of words. You alone are God, you alone are my Salvation, and you alone are True.
Take all my heart for you are eternal and faithful. What will I do whilst I await your return? I will sing you praises, and glorify your name on earth. Be magnified Lord. Be glorified.”
Then in my prayer I said “Oh Lord, the sea even listened when you rebuked it, but these men are more stubborn and still rage in disobedience; none has kept your instructions or read them. They are fallen too deep into the pit – they can’t hear a voice of help calling from above.
But I know, oh Lord, that no One can save except you. I pray that your compassion remains on them, and feed them though they don’t know your hands, and water them though they don’t care for your name. Give them light though they have no life; and stay your breath in them though they stay away from you. When your DAY comes, judge me, and judge them, but save me as I Trusted and Believed you would.
I praise you Most Holy Lord, Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the saved, and Father of the New, I praise you. Amen.”
(Psalm 162 / Written in 3 days; from 06 to 08/05/09) by Augustine Osei
DO NOT FORSAKE ME OH GOD
Lord, there is fear in my heart for it seems you've forgotten me. I came to your Holy throne this day to
seek your presence but my heart was greatly surprised. I sought your comfort but found none, I asked for warmth in
your wings but was provided none, and I knocked but heard no response inside your heart.
What fearful day is this?
What dreadful hour has befallen me? What danger is this that crumples my heart?
Can the Lord forget me? Can the good Lord forget one that He greatly loved and highly adored? Can the Lord of Host
fail to recognize the voice of his people? I don't believe so, yet it seems God has ignored me and hides his goodness
from shining on me.
Some angels also appear unto me with strange light and say that the Lord has forsaken me, that I am of no importance
to God and of no worth in the world; but I won't believe them, and I wont leave this place of prayer; I wont keep my
voice quiet and lower my face to the ground in defeat and shame, I won't surrender calling out your name Oh God, and
I wont accept the words in my head saying You have abandoned me. But oh Lord, trouble heaps behind me, approaching
with a speed greater than arrows thrown by numerous men to destroy my life.
God,
my voice will tear with sobbing till you remember me as your cherished love. I will cry till my tears soften the
hard earth I stand on, I will weep till you mention my name with tenderness. Labor to come for me; labor to come and
comfort me, my God. Stretch forth your right and victorious hand and rescue me for I belong to only you, I am called
by your name and was purchased by You with your blood; you suffered for me, remember? You cannot forget your sufferings
on earth: how your body was tortured for my sake; how a spear was put to your side and nails stayed pierced in your
hands for hours – you cannot forget how silently you endured it all so you can own a poor soul like mine; so why act
hard on me now? Why make me weep for your company, why make me toil to have your eyes on me with admiration? Oh be good
to me God. Be too good to me. Have you noticed my terrified heart, and hurting head? Do you see my nervousness and
weakness? Oh Lord what is happening to me? What is happening to the sweet relationship I had with you? Why, dear God,
are you letting this happen to me? Do you not care that I fall? Did I do something wrong to deserve these times of
pain and deep sorrow, and frequent depression? Did you find something wrong with my body that you punish me so? Oh
dear God transform me and make me shine like the sun with a glory more than all the beauty in the world. You're the
only God I serve, and the only one I love.
Though at this moment I suffer in my soul, yet my heart will submit and serve no one except Jesus Christ my Lord and
my God. Though all joy seem strangely abated within me, and difficult times abound each day, and torment consumes my
whole heart like the darkness in the grave of a dead man, yet will I praise my God, and worship only my Lord Jesus
Christ because I know that surely he will answer me, and glorify me, and restore me on a higher ground.
Here I stand, waiting for you my Lord. I'm waiting…I'm waiting…I'll wait on the Lord my God.
MESSAGE TO ALL
Here’s a message for you;
When you get to heaven, find a nice bank and put all the money you’ve stored on earth in it; inquire from the angel
who comes to call your soul how you can transfer all your accounts from earth to a safe deposit in heaven.
When death
comes to pick you up, tell him to also pick up your packed bags, point to your luggage and advice him to handle it with
care because it contains a lot of precious items worth millions; ask him which property in heaven is available for
purchase, and ask him also which business organization you could possible buy shares in.
When you get to heaven, set
up a charity organization and donate the wealth you hoarded here on earth to the poor and needy there, or better yet,
start a business and employ the jobless in heaven, I’m sure they’d be happy to work for you.
So keep keeping your money for the world to come, after all, you worked hard to earn every bit of it, and if a single
bit of it touches the floor in heaven, please send me a message and tell me how you did it.

By Augustine Osei This compilation consists of over 160 psalms written expressively under the influence of the Holy Spirit of our only Lord and Savoiour Jesus Christ . Intentions are towards publishing them into a book for all to see, read, and glorify the author and finisher of our Faith. Some of the Pslams, however, have been published in our tracts and distributed to the edification of the saints of our Redeemer Jesus Christ .

The Lord is among His people, and there are many saints out there who are praising and worshiping God through music and psalms. We want to encourage all to submit their psalms for publication on our website and also in our tracts / Busy Salt.
